Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Accountancy and Financial Management (Top-up)
University of Portsmouth, 1st Class Honours Graduate (2020)
I took up a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Accountancy and Financial Management Degree with the University of Portsmouth as I felt it was a programme that would be relevant to my career objectives. This programme also gave me exemptions for certain ACCA examination papers. I would recommend studying with UOP for these reasons mentioned.
The programme structure was manageable overall. The lecturers were very professional and they willingly shared their experiences with the students, which made the learning more meaningful.
Studying for this Degree has made me realise that I am never too old to study and that I should never give up. As a father of two teenage boys, I hope to inspire them to do their best in their endeavours having seen my tenacity and perseverance in completing this programme while working full time. My determination, hard work and firm belief in myself enabled me to complete this programme.
On the whole, this programme has enhanced my critical thinking and research skills. I am confident with the knowledge and skills I have acquired that I can be an added value to my company.
